Keep Your Future Flexible While Saving
Saying the “world is a little bit crazy right now” would be the understatement of the decade. Between Covid-19, The Great Resignation, Ohio consumers are worrying lately. Obviously, shopping for a new electricity plan might not be high up on your priority list. We can’t tell what the future will hold, but finding a flexible yet reliable electric plan can take the strain off of your bills. But no matter if rate rise or fall, this is one thing we can help you with. So, let’s shop these stable electric plans for these uncertain times.
A Cheap Plan With A Big ETF
Our first plan is from XOOM Energy. Their SureLock 12 plan is the cheapest 12-month plan on the Madeira market right now. Currently, it’s 7.49 cents per kWh. While this is higher than the Price To Compare, that rate expires on March 31st and changes monthly. That doesn’t mean everything is perfect. On one hand, you get XOOM Xtras, where you get rewards just for paying your bills. On the other, this plan comes with a $100 early termination fee. If you decide to go with XOOM and finish your contract, here’s what you can expect. At least 45 days prior to your contract ending you will receive two renewal notices which will contain new offers. Should you not accept this agreement, your contract automatically renews on a month-to-month basis.
Stable Electric Plan With Excellent Customer Service
Our next plan is from Santanna Energy Services. Their Premier Pick 12 offers a 7.79 cents per kWh rate, and also comes with a $100 early termination fee. While it’s not as flexible as it could be, Santanna is one of the higher-rated companies when it comes to customer service. If you’re looking for quality assistance, check them out.
The Cheapest Flexible Electric Plan
Last but certainly not least is from Public Power. The 12 Month Fixed plan is also 7.79 cents per kWh, but it comes with one key difference. There is no early termination fee. If you’re planning on playing the market, this is a fantastic plan. No ETF means the maximum amount of flexibility to switch if and when rates drop. You will receive a notice from Public Power about one or two months before the end of your contract. This details either a new fixed-rate plan or a variable rate plan that you could be enrolled in. You will be automatically enrolled in this new plan if you do not switch your provider at this time.
