Disconnect Fees and Problems (345 reviews)
Accounting nightmare
“ horrible experience. Sent payment thru bill pay, XOOM claimed they did not receive payment. We provided proof from the bank via copy of check showing their bank/name. Weeks later they sent a disconnect notice, we called again provided copy of checks, they said thats not good enough, we need copy of bank statement...we blacked out info they did not need sent in, weeks later after many calls still not resolved, finally 2.5 months in we received a notice in the mail the account was finally credited, but demanding $30 in late fees!!! Still fighting this with them. DO NOT USE THESE FRAUDS ”

Do not sign up!
“ Do not use them. Ever. I signed up because they had the cheapest rates in our area. Huge mistake. If you can not make your payment by the due date, they will send you a disconnect notice on the 3rd day past the due date. And that disconnect notice is dated for 2 weeks after the due date. For us specifically, the due date was July 17th, disconnect notice (which I didn't get in the mail by the way) was sent out on the 20th with a disconnect due date of July 31st. I tried to set up a payment arrangement BEFORE the due date and couldn't because I had a zero past due balance and couldn't set one up after because they require half down for the payment. And forget getting transferred to a supervisor. Literally every time I've tried it disconnects. Once I spent an hour on hold before giving up. Another time it rang back to regular call takers. I even called too close to the end of the day and after spending 15 minutes on hold it kicked off to a "after hours" message before disconnecting. Tell me that supervisor didn't decided to not pick up because he or she was ready to go home. This company is terrible. ”
